Dr. Pfeiffer has taught at Boise State University since 1979 and has been a BOC certified athletic trainer since 1978. He teaches undergraduate and graduate classes in musculoskeletal anatomy and sports injuries. His research is in the area of musculoskeletal injuries with a specific focus in recent years on injuries to the anterior cruciate ligament. He has co-authored a number of book chapters as well as research publications based on his research. He presently serves as the Director of the Center for Musculoskeletal Research at Boise State University. In his spare time, Dr. Pfeiffer serves as a volunteer athletic trainer for youth sports teams and enjoys fly fishing. Dr. Palmieri has practiced chiropractic and sports medicine since 1990 and has worked as a paramedic since 1983. He is a faculty member at Kean University and member of the EMS training center faculty at Raritan Bay Medical Center in New Jersey. Dr. Palmieri has been involved in the training and education of EMS personnel for over 20 years and teaches a Coach First Aid program that is very popular among youth sport coaches. Additionally, he has coached youth sports for many years and is currently a Bantam level hockey coach.
