Dr. Paul M. Achleitner ist ehemaliger Partner von Goldman Sachs, Allianz-Finanzvorstand und Vorsitzender des Aufsichtsrats der Deutschen Bank. Er begann seine Karriere in der Forschung an der Universität von St. Gallen und der Harvard Business School, gefolgt von mehreren Jahren als Unternehmensberater bei Bain & Co. in Boston. Er war in zahlreichen Aufsichtsräten (Bayer, Daimler, MAN, RWE), Beiräten (Allianz, Bain & Co., Deutsche Bank, Hakluyt, Hedosophia, HPS), Non-Profit-Organisationen (Alfred Herrhausen Society, Bilderberg, Brookings, Münchner Sicherheitskonferenz), Bildungseinrichtungen (Bocconi, Harvard Business School, Universität St. Gallen, WHU Koblenz), Industrieverbänden (European Financial Roundtable, EU-Hongkong Business Council) und Regierungskommissionen tätig. Zusammen mit seiner Frau, Professorin Ann-Kristin Achleitner, ist er ein aktiver Start-up-Investor. Dr. Paul M. Achleitner is a former partner of Goldman Sachs, CFO of Allianz, and Chair of the Deutsche Bank Supervisory Board. He started his career in research at the University of St. Gallen and Harvard Business School, followed by several years as a management consultant at Bain & Co. Throughout the last three decades he has also served on multiple corporate boards (Bayer, Daimler, MAN, RWE), advisory councils (Allianz, Bain & Co, Deutsche Bank, Hakluyt, Hedosophia, HPS), non-profit organizations (Alfred Herrhausen Society, Bilderberg, Brookings, Munich Security Conference), educational institutions (Bocconi, Harvard Business School, University of St. Gallen, WHU Koblenz), industry associations (European Financial Roundtable, EU-Hongkong Business Council) and government commissions. Together with his wife, Professor Ann-Kristin Achleitner, he is an active startup investor.
