James Paul Gee is Professor of Education at Clark University, Usa, and has an international reputation in the fields of critical literacy and sociolinguistics. Glynda Hull is Associate Professor of Education at the University of California, Berkely, and is co-director of the National Centre for the Study of Writing. Colin Lankshear is Professor in the School of Language and Literacy Education at Queensland University of Technology.
