Over the course of his career, L. DeVere Burton has served as a high school agriculture teacher, Idaho State Supervisor/FFA Advisor, Director of Research for Idaho State Division of Professional/Technical Education, and Instructional Dean at the College of Southern Idaho. He was a member of several curriculum development committees sponsored by the Ag Ed Council, and served for four years as an Adult Consultant to the Nominating Committee, National FFA Organization.
