Autor

Edward Allen, FAIA, has taught for forty years as afaculty member at Yale University and the Massachusetts Instituteof Technology, and has frequently taught as a guest lecturer atother institutions throughout the United States. He has designedmore than fifty constructed buildings and is the bestsellingcoauthor of The Architect's Studio Companion, ArchitecturalDetailing, Form and Forces, and Fundamentals of ResidentialConstruction, all published by Wiley. Joseph Iano is an author, illustrator, and practicingarchitect who has taught design and technology in schools ofarchitecture throughout the United States, and has also worked inthe construction trades. Currently, he heads a Seattle firm thatprovides technical and quality management consulting to the designand construction industry. He is the coauthor with Edward Allen ofThe Architect's Studio Companion.
