Joseph Iano is an author, illustrator, and practicingarchitect who has taught design and technology in schools ofarchitecture throughout the United States, and has also worked inthe construction trades. Currently, he heads a Seattle firm thatprovides technical and quality management consulting to the designand construction industry. He is the coauthor with Edward Allen ofThe Architect's Studio Companion.
