It is good to be in the spirit because it empowers you to wear the garment of fire. This means, you wear garment of fire when you are in the spirit. Those who serve God are clothed in this divine attire. It is an invisible covering that grants you strength, courage and ability to overcome every challenge you encounter. The garment of fire is not just a say, but a spiritual reality that enables you to act with supernatural power and unshakable confidence. It means, when you are prayerful, you fast and pray, believe in the existence of God Almighty and you know the Word and abstain from sin. Hence, you are adored in the attire of fire.

Wear the garment of fire to breakthrough. Have breakthrough in success, breakthrough in the spirit, breakthrough in good health, breakthrough in career and breakthrough in calling. Giving up or quitting is not the answer. Face the challenge, fight and win the battle. This is how men and women that wear garment of fire do. They fight and win battles. God is always in the business of making you great. Those who wear garment of fire embrace strength, resilience and determination in the face of life's challenges. When they confront obstacles, giving up is never an option; instead, they rise, fight and push forward with courage. Men and women that wear garment of fire don’t laugh anyhow. They may smile occasionally but are always serous. They have focus of what to do and how to keep them above competitors. Where God want to send you is too great, you need a lion heart. What God has prepared for you is a lion share. Lions are animals that roar and other animals flee. The lion is called the king of the jungle with unmatched courage and strength. Anyone that wears garment of fire has fiery spirit. He does not just walk through the wild; he commands the terrain he roams. When adorned in the garment of fire, you become a force so formidable that nothing challenges you on your path.

Your speech is like a roar of a lion. Your talk is a declaration of power, a sound that reverberates through the very soul of your surroundings, causing all to fear you with respect. You walk with purpose, your eyes aflame with determination, as it was Moses and nothing in your domain can stand against you. This fiery garment represents power to conquer all obstacles and claim dominion over what is rightfully yours. When clothed in flames of fire, you become unstoppable; blazing with a spirit that burns brighter than the very sun you follow. With every step you take, the garment of fire you wear radiates and no enemy dare come close to you.

Your strength is not merely physical; it is rooted in the fire that fuels your heart. As you move, the ground trembles beneath you, for you are no ordinary man or woman. You are a man of fire carrying the weight of divine purpose. The enemies, upon hearing you are coming, retreat because it is the only option. There is no escape from the fierce brilliance of your power. Like a blaze that cannot be contained, you arise and conquer all that stands your way, fulfilling your destiny with a roar that echoes through the heavens. Jesus is there for you, this is why he is called the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Heaven is not partial. Heaven doesn’t want to know whether you are black, you are white or a mixed race. What the heaven knows about you is; you are a Lion of the tribe of Judah. Jesus is there for you and he is traced to the tribe of Judah!

Every destiny has a Goliath that wants you to give up on your faith in God, that wants you to backslide, that wants you to fail in ministry. In whatever God has call you to do there is a power that doesn’t want you to do it. Paul says, “That which I don’t want to do I find myself do it. There is a compelling power that is dragging me back”. Spirit of Paul fought spirit of Goliath for many years and won. This is why he said, “The crown of glory awaits me”. "Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:8. Any day God speak a word over your life, Satan will arise to fight you. This is the reason you must be alert because Satan will show up to discourage you or make you fail. Put on the garment of fire that will make Satan flee.

Elijah has call of God in him. He started by fire and ends his ministry with fire. No one can say precisely his background; but the day he showed up it was war against the palace. This is someone King Ahab heard nothing of. He showed up in the palace and declares because you worship Baal, a foreign god; there won’t be rain or dew for three years. "Now Elijah the Tishbite, from Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, 'As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, whom I serve, and there will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word.'" Kings 17:1, it came to pass. Elijah was not an ordinary man but a man of fire in the garment of fire.

We see this illustrated in the story of Prophet Elijah. When God called him into a journey that would test both his physical and spiritual endurance, the Lord sent an angel to him with a message: "Arise and eat, for the journey is too great for you." Elijah’s obedience to God’s command sets the foundation for the manifestation of this spiritual empowerment. The food provided to him was not an ordinary food but a food from heaven. The food was a divine impartation of strength and energy that was deeply spiritual. As he sets legs on the journey; heaven wears him garment of fire.

Elijah has supernatural strength that carried him for forty days without the need for further nourishment. As he journeyed, he did not feel the usual effects of hunger or exhaustion. The garment of fire he wore made him an invincible vessel of God’s purpose. Along his journey, any dark forces or powers that sought to deter him fled in fear. The heavens energized him from the garment of fire wrapped around him. This means that when God calls you to a task, he equips you with everything you need to succeed. Those who wear this spiritual garment are not just protected but become powerful agents of divine will. All oppositions fled and scatter and expire! I pray, every opposition against you shall flee and scatter in the name of Jesus.

King Ahaziah, having fallen from his palace, sends a company of fifty soldiers to bring Prophet Elijah to him. The king failed to understand that Elijah is not just any prophet, he is a man clothed in fire, representing the very presence and power of God. At that time, Elijah was sitting on top of a hill, calmly waiting what is to come. When the first company of soldiers arrives, they demand that Elijah come down immediately, but Elijah refused. Instead, he declares, “If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty.” Immediately, fire descends from heaven and consumed them. The king sent a second company to arrest him. He spoke as he did first time. Fire fell from heaven and consumed them.

The king sent a third company, knowing the deadly fate of the previous two, they fall before Elijah, pleaded for mercy, begged him not to call down fire upon them. What stands out here is the manifestation of Elijah’s spiritual power. This fire is not by Elijah’s power but comes from God, who equips him with the ability to summon heavenly fire. The fire he commands is not merely an external force; it symbolizes the garment of fire that cloaks him as a prophet. The garment of fire is invisible but a sacred garment that can only be recognized by those who understand the nature of God’s power at work in the world.

This fire is not a mere weapon but of purity, judgment and authority; and a sign of holiness and righteousness of God. It reveals to all who witness it that Elijah is not simply a man but a prophet clothed in divine fire. It is the humility and repentance of the third company that saves them from destruction. They recognize the power of God in Elijah and approach him with a humble heart. I pray, every enemy sent from the kingdom of darkness to arrest you and put you in bondage shall be consumed by fire, in the order of Elijah’s declaration.

Moses was a central figure in the bible and in the history of the children of Israel. He was chosen by God to lead the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt. His life is marked by miracles, divine encounters and unmatched leadership. In one of his divine encounters, he encountered God through the burning bush on Mount Horeb. It was in this encounter he was clothed in a "garment of fire" that equipped him to face the task ahead of him in Egypt. This fire is not a mere physical fire but divine energy that saw him through to accomplish the task of liberating the Israelites from Pharaoh's grip. The encounter with the burning bush signifies encounter that marked Moses as a liberator with garment of fire. The fire on the bush was the initial spark of the divine energy that would continue to infuse Moses throughout his journey.

A change appeared after Moses spent time in the presence of God. After receiving the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai, Moses descended the mountain with his face radiant, his eyes burning with the glory of God that the Israelites were afraid to come near him.
