You are welcome to life history that digs deep to the fabric of life. You know where you are coming from. You know your foundation. You know the history of your family. You know your neighborhood and know how far you have gone in life. The bible makes us to understand the story of Abraham changed when Jesus Christ was traced to him in the book of

Mathew 1:1”This is the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah the son of David, the son of Abraham”

To say my story must change, means you saw the good and the bad side of life. You may learned bitter lesson that makes you have change of heart. You may realize how you grew with friends and found wanting, then you say, “My story must change”. Good things attract good thoughts. The way you think affects the way you behave.

Your family may be a lover of education and not trading or business, but the day you visits friends that are into business who made it, but you are poor because you are a salary earner, then you decide to venture into business. You may say, “I am going into business and not be stagnant, my story must change”. Also, you may be a perpetual visitor to witch doctors but one day, you came across a Christian that preach Christ to you, and it touched your heart, then you surrender your life to Christ and say, “My story must change”

When you say my story must change, it means you realize, you are in the wrong path of life but decide to quit when you discover or know the right way to follow. Apostle Paul quit Judaism for Christianity when Jesus called him. People that do evil may have a change of heart and say, “I quit evil for good”. They believe, if they take such a step, their life will change. You may be involved in immorality, drunkenness, smoking, night party and crawling, but decided to quit, and say, “My story must change”. Generally, people that say “My story must change” discover they are at the lower rung of the ladder and want to occupy the top of the ladder. They want to move from zero level to a hero level. They decided to leave the grass to grace; from the crowd to a peculiar person.

Story doesn’t change overnight; you pass through stages of life. Many have life experiences that are bitter, before honey flow in the garden of their life. They don’t give up, but rise as they fall. Your life is for a purpose. Find that purpose and excel in it. I believe your story will change today, in the name of Jesus. Amen

You must determine in your mind to excel and leave your present position before your story can change. You must be determined to nullify evil carryover of debt, stagnation, poverty, sickness etc. in your life. It is not enough to say my story must change, you must act. Action speaks louder than voice. It is time you change from failure to favor, from poverty to prosperity, from being a sinner to a Born Again Christian and from a beggar to a lender. With God, your story will change, in the name of Jesus. Jesus is on your side. The boat he enters never sinks! When Jesus entered the boat of Simon Peter the boat did not sink; but when Jonah entered the boat of the people, the boat began to sink! Welcome Jesus that never sinks boat in your life. Your story shall definitely change.

There are interesting stories we heard that baffles life, yet many come up every day. There are unpleasant stories you wouldn’t want to recall because it is terrible. The experience is too bad that each time you think about it, it breaks your heart. Today, the Lord will change your story from shame to glory.

Jesus in you is a tabernacle of direction. When you need God to give you direction; so that your story will change, don’t compete with him. Don’t apply brain or human wisdom, you will miss it. Allow God to direct your path of prosperity. You won’t sink if you follow God’s direction.

Use God’s deposit in you without favor or discrimination. Also, pray to handle small things that lead to big things. When Joseph interpreted the dreams of the Baker and the Butler it looks insignificant in what Joseph will get from these men. They were all prisoners that had nothing to pay for the service. This service led Joseph to stand before Pharaoh to interpret his dreams. There Joseph was upgraded to a better position. His secret practice brought him to open manifestation.

When Joseph was summoned by Pharaoh to the palace, the king said, take away his garment; and he was decorated with new garment of better position. The Bible gives the details in Genesis 41:41-43.

”So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I hereby put you in charge of the whole land of Egypt.” Then Pharaoh took his signet ring from his finger and put it on Joseph’s finger. He dressed him in robes of fine linen and put a gold chain around his neck. He had him ride in a chariot as his second-in-command, and people shouted before him, “Make way!” Thus he put him in charge of the whole land of Egypt”.

 

Joseph became the Prime Minister of Egypt. He was the first and the last foreigner to occupy such position in Egypt. His story changed! His name was in the mouth of everyone. Every day his name is mentioned by Egyptians and the children of Israel. They all needed grains and barns must be constructed! He was the overall manager!

The day his garment was changed signifies the end of every power of stagnancy, debt, shame, failure and backwardness! Hence, I prophesy into your life, every garment of failure and backwardness in your life is removed, in the name of Jesus. Amen

Brethren, connect your destiny to the Holy Spirit, the Teacher and the Comforter. You can’t accomplish the journey of life without obstacles or mountains that retards progress. The journey of life gradually unfolds, as we stay connected to the Holy Spirit of God and stay open to God’s dealings over our lives. Whatever God will do through you in a great way, he will start with you in small ways in the secret place.

If you want your story to change start something doing in your secret place. If you have talent to sing, start in your room, start in your house, start with friends. Soon you will come into the open!

You must pray if you want your story to change. Let your prayer be acidic and violent to shake heaven for quick answer; and scatter the kingdom of darkness. You will remain in one spot if you don’t pray. Prayer doesn’t allow enemy to ride you. Imagine, after 40 days and 40 nights of prayer and fasting of Jesus Christ, Satan came to tempt him. Satan knew Jesus story is about to change.

As a Christian, you must rebuke and pray against spirit of disgrace and shame. Pray and set the garment of shame and disgrace ablaze. Command every spirit of disgrace and shame to quit your life. Such spirit will make it difficult for your star to shine. It is a spirit that causes retrogression in a life. For your story to change to glory, spirit of disgrace must be taken away from you. Cry to God for heavenly intervention. Your story must change. Many are fed up with the condition they are today because there is no meaningful record of achievement or success in their life. Though family members and friends may mock you, the Lord is mightily for you to succeed. He will change your story for good and make the challenges you are passing through now to a stepping stone to glory.

The fact remains there is no situation God cannot change. God can pay your debt off in a minute. He can save your soul instantly. In the dictionary of God, there is nothing like impossibility. This is why you should look up to Him, so that your story may change. If God is with you enemy cannot overcome you in the battle of life.

When God appears in your battle front, it is the end of the battle. No matter the strength of the opposition, one word from God will scatter the opposition and paralyze their activities against you. This is the confidence you have, your story must change.

Prayer is powerful. The prayer of Jabez saved him. His prayer brought glory to him. His prayer brought great doors of opportunities. His prayer silenced people that mocked him. His prayer was prayer of wisdom and petition. His prayer changed his story. The simple prayer of Jabez brought him glory. His prayer was five cardinal power point prayers. This is it.

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that you would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that your hand would be with me, and that you would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain. And God granted his request” 1 Chronicle 4:10

I pray, God will grant your requests, in the name of Jesus. Amen

The story of Jabez changed. Debt saw him and fled! Poverty saw him and fled! Failure saw Jabez and fled! Stagnancy saw Jabez and fled! Backwardness saw Jabez and fled! People that mocked Jabez were put to shame because his story changed! Favor of God locates him. Blessing of God became the order of the day in his life. God enlarged his territory. The hand of the Lord was upon him. The Lord Almighty kept him from evil; witchcraft powers and principalities that reduce life to zero expired. And      Jabez smiled, danced and laughed the laughter of honorable man! I pray, you will be honored anywhere you go, in the name of Jesus. Amen

Prayer changes destiny. What prayer cannot change God has no hand in it. When you pray, take action. Don’t pray and go back to bed while others go to work.
