The obvious

Irrefutable facts

"Apparently". Well then. For example, it is “obvious”, that the word has 9 letters. An irrefutable fact. Defined by algebraic formalism, broken down to what is visible - a partitioning, that you can hold on to. Even with the simplest constructions, as can be seen, we are forced to partition, to divide, in order to explain, to define. Here it’s simple – just two components, namely “visible” and “countable”. But – what is so uncomplicated in our existence?

As we move just a little closer to the formula, it begins to fragment further. This is how it is limited here - to the english language, that the letters do not move too quickly, (if they did) that there is a basic knowledge, that can somehow use/represent the "obvious", that the color of the symbols differs from the background, that they are recognizable as individual symbols, that the observer's visual acuity is correct, that there is enough light... a thousand other preambles, preconditions, appear.      

Intensifying chaos      
Even the seemingly simple “obvious” has a densely woven background, that, in its simplest form, appears chaotic. If we now make a leap from this simple constellation of “things” in a counting question to ourselves, to our “life” - it immediately becomes clear, how infinitely “complicated” its “handling” must be. Because millions upon millions of constantly changing preconditions, flowing formulas and algorithms “work” here. Ultimately, an information chaos, that human thinking escapes, by using “filters”.       

Manipulation filter systems      
There are natural filters for our perception - for example, we cannot hear certain frequencies or see certain colors - but the largest "filter" system is our thinking itself - much more, than just a filter. If we “look at it to the end” with these “filters”, we are the director of our life’s film, the screenwriter. This is not just a mere word image, not just a crude example. Follow!      

Basic background absolutely necessary      
Our perception is complex - our entire body is a sensor. Viewed more roughly, there is hearing, seeing, “feeling” - “UNDERSTANDING”. Let us limit ourselves in this discourse to communication - which can, in a certain sense, be viewed as a source of any other flow of information. In the last few paragraphs it became clear, that “things” are (must be) described by their basic components. I mean, the circumstances of “readability” of the matter must be present.       

Individual information standard       
If these basic components are not present, in whole or in part, i.e. if the “circumstances” are not correct, the “result” will be accordingly. This is, what defines the individuality of people and “things”. Now, it is clear, that every person needs a pool of information, in order to understand certain circumstances. It is equally clear, that, what is in this pool of information, is fundamental to the form, of what is subsequently “understood”. Which leads us directly to the keyword “ego manipulation”.      

Inherited “world view”      
A clear picture of a society, that, in its complete posturing of “education,” has brought about, what we now call our “existence.” And this existence is one, in which thoughts of transience, suffering, full of fears, illness, war, filled with sad certainties, frightening uncertainties prevail. This confusing chaos arose in our own thinking, made from manipulated basic information, basic premises, preambles.       

Caught in smallness      
What happens is, that the image of smallness, that we have of ourselves, keeps us stuck in a life situation, that generates nothing but fear. The little one's fear of the big one. Of the subordinate before the powerful. The poor before the rich. We have imagined an image of the “obvious”, puzzled together from an infinite number of tiny pieces – a puzzle with individual pieces, that do not fit together. We put them all in a bag and wrote “life” on them. Put in a drawer.      

Only illusion value      
But, what we live as "obvious" is pure invention, illusion - in the absence of the ability to really put this puzzle together, (which, due to the diversity of the individual parts - we only ever receive fragments of information - the rest is pure "interpretation " - would never be possible anyway) we fantasize our universe with vague clues (also fed from the tiny pieces of information from our bag)) Completely individual, "egotistical", we collect witnesses for our BELIEF - which never can be anything other, than baseless chaos.

Don Quixote in action      
But it is true, that we have to LIVE with this, our so crazy distorted, image of existence. An idea, that, due to its incompleteness, its lack of truth, its purely illusory value, is constantly in angry confrontation. Keeps us breathless. No break. We are forced to defend our “dreams,” our “obviousness,” what we believe is “reality.” We also attack this.      

Constant defense      
Our view of things is actually, that we constantly believe, that we are being attacked by an uncontrollable “outside”; we only take responsibility for what we believe is not “outside” and that we have created ourselves . What exactly this “outside” is, remains hidden. In any case, “we can’t help it.” We are unable to truly acknowledge, that we are the creators of our own world - the fear of responsibility is far too great.       

Fear of responsibility      
The responsibility for what happens “outside”, is too great, so we hide behind our smallness. Fear. Panic. DOUBT OF LIFE. We can see, that the cause of the desperately sad position we take in the “course of things”, is our self-portrait, wallowing in smallness. We get all the clues for this self-description from the ego dynamics, which, in such a constellation, knows best, how to realize its goals.

Illusion dynamics      
The cause, basis, reason, of this painful illusion dynamic, is the truth, that the extremely fragile construction of the ego lie building would collapse, if someone were to take the one, decisive step in the right direction (the “abyss”). I smile to my heart. That time, when we return “home” comes for everyone. It is the moment, when we understand, that our “being,” our “I,” is not limited to or by our bodies and minds. That there is no “SELF”.      

Holy moment      
The moment, when we realize, that our real “BEING” finds us “outside” any possible description. Outside of birth and death and just as outside of non-birth and non-death. The illusory character of any “reality” is revealed. Anyone, who not only recognizes this position intellectually, but rather internalizes it, will understand the Buddha nature of every living being.       

Complete impermanence      
The nature of the “obvious” is that of a soap bubble, the emptiness, of which is filled with judgment, that is quite manipulative in its capacity as “reality”. If we take just a small step closer, its complete impermanence first becomes apparent. The “Sight” further shows us, beyond this “temporal” fleetingness, the non-significance, the irrelevance, that is fundamentally inherent in this thought formation, constructed from prejudiced, equally unstable, “quasi-positions”, taken out of thin air.       

In another dimension      
Once we have understood the logic or illogicality of this construction, this idea, we are able to depict it in our inner eye, then it is possible for us to “push forward”, so to speak. “To advance” is not the right choice of word – it rather means, that we look at the matter from a distance, from a point of view, that has nothing to do with this logic, is no longer involved in it, and that’s why can...
