Ground Zero
What is Ground Zero? It could have many different meanings to many different people, but they all really mean the same thing. Ground Zero is a significant starting point. It is a moment that has the potential to alter our lives forever. It encompasses various events and experiences that usually leave us with a lasting impact. Things can happen in our lives that change our life and mind in some type of way, such as the tragic events of 9/11 when the planes hit the twin towers in New York City, the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, or even winning the lottery. Circumstances like having a child, the death of a parent, releasing a book, or even making contact with extraterrestrial beings are all Ground Zero events. My life transformed on the night of October 23, 2020. While I did have a belief in inter-dimensional beings or extraterrestrial life, I did not set out that evening with the intention of making contact with them. I was deep in meditation, seeking healing for myself.
My aim for this book is not an attempt to persuade anyone into believing in extraterrestrial life. If you do not already acknowledge their existence, that is your personal journey to explore. Sufficient evidence already exists, and my only hope is for people to question any beliefs that may not be rooted in love. I invite you to join me in a space of acceptance and understanding rather than belief, where acknowledgement replaces the need for faith. By acknowledging the presence of extraterrestrial beings, you can establish a foundation of certainty from which to grow. This foundation of certainty is crucial for initiating contact with extra-terrestrial beings. However, if contact is not your aim, that is perfectly acceptable; personal growth and self-realization do not depend on the belief in extraterrestrial beings. They may appear in various forms, such as ancestral guides, and regardless of how they manifest for you, what matters is how they resonate with you. My experiences with extraterrestrial beings showed up in a particular way to assist me, and they may manifest differently for others. Invoking our ancestors through prayer or ritual is a longstanding tradition in human history, just like extraterrestrial contact. Seeking assistance through prayer and connecting with our ancestors has been a part of human practices since ancient times.
I began my healing journey more than twenty years ago. Although my childhood was filled with a religious theme, my true spiritual journey began later, in 2010, after the passing of my father. I had a profound experience where I encountered his Divine Light after his physical departure. This experience launched me further along the healing path, transitioning it into a journey of spirituality. After that experience, I had no doubt that something greater was waiting outside our physical bodies.
Allow me to introduce myself. The name given to me at my birth is Linda. The name that embodies what I feel today while in a state of connection to my higher self is Sophora Stone, due to various experiences in my life that connected me to the Divine Mother energy and through my strong connection to the land. The name is equivalent to a state of being for me—an energetic frequency I am able to tap into. I identify as a wounded healer or wounded shaman. To be a wounded healer is to transform personal suffering into compassion and helping others on their own healing journeys. It involves embracing one’s own vulnerabilities and using them as sources of strength and empathy, helping others navigate their own pain. My deepest desire is to assist in guiding others to become the healers of their own lives. In this book, not only will I share the life lessons I have learned throughout my journey but also share some of what was given to me by the extraterrestrials. My life lessons played a significant role in enabling me to have the contact experience I received, and I hope that by sharing those lessons others will be able to identify what resonates within themselves to help them on their own journey. In essence, this journey leads to inner healing by raising our consciousness to connect with the most loving and authentic parts of ourselves, ultimately guiding us toward our highest self. This is the self that embodies pure unconditional love and is needed to develop our heart’s resonance. However, love of this magnitude requires immense courage, strength, and endurance. Unconditional love is far more challenging than one might expect, and it must first originate from within oneself.
Loving oneself completely and without judgment may appear straightforward, but societal conditioning often teaches us the opposite. Many factors can shape our capacity for love and judgment throughout our lives. Childhood experiences, familial relationships, cultural upbringing, and personal traumas all play significant roles in influencing how we perceive love and exercise judgment. As each person embarks on their unique life journey, their capacity for love and understanding will vary depending on their experiences. Unfortunately, my life did not begin under blessed circumstances. I did not receive the experiences of typical young ladies, like dancing classes, Girl Scouts, or parental encouragement to pursue my dreams. In fact, I was not encouraged to envision a bright future at all and, according to my family’s beliefs, I had no future. I was raised in a fear-based cult/religious environment that solely focused on the impending Armageddon and the imminent death of everyone that I knew. The only future they described to me was one filled with devastation and destruction. The only glimmer of hope lay in complete obedience, subservience, and conformity to their organization. I was not allowed to have friends outside of the cult/religion, whether they were schoolmates or neighbors. I lived in isolation, cut off from the world that—according to them—had no future. Since no future awaited me, I began to dream of one. I dreamed of the life that I was told would never happen. However, the life that I eventually created exceeded the dreams I had as a child.
How could I dream so big when my future seemed nonexistent during my childhood? I was not supposed to live long enough to drive a car, buy alcohol, or form my own family, let alone experience joy and happiness. I was taught that being happy in this world meant the devil had a grip on your life. Happiness was seen as a sign that you were under temptation, implying that you should be unhappy to prove the devil didn’t control you. I was told I could never be happy without their God, without their religious cult, or without them. So, the pursuit of happiness became the driving force in my life. When your family isolates you from the world but forces you to live in it, it makes you feel like an animal in a cage at the zoo, particularly when you do not receive the love you need at home.
I was the fifth and last child, but I was born as the second child to my mother, who had previously undergone a procedure to prevent further pregnancies. Unfortunately, the birth of her third child was a traumatic experience, endangering both her and the baby’s life. As a result, her tubes were tied to prevent any future pregnancies. However, a few years later and against all odds, she became pregnant with her fourth child, which turned out to be her first tubal pregnancy. Her religious/cult beliefs were strict on not receiving blood transfusions, and her pregnancy was at high risk because of that and also because it was a tubal pregnancy. Once again, her tubes were tied after this difficult pregnancy. Then, again unexpectedly, three years later, I came into this world as her fifth child, and her second tubal pregnancy. This was a significant time for her because it coincided with the year her religious/cult predicted the end of the world—the end of 1975. Even though my mother believed in this prophecy, fortunately they were wrong and the world did not end. I was born healthy, six weeks before the end of the year. Despite having two miracle children, for a total of five children, this was not the life that she had envisioned for herself. She told me many times that I was not supposed to be here and that she did not want five children. Throughout my entire childhood, I was constantly told that I would forever remain a child, shielded from the worries and temptations of the world, as it was their belief that its existence would come to an end at any moment. The imminent arrival of God was ingrained in my mind, perpetuating the notion that everyone around me could be annihilated at any given moment. When I was a young girl, every opportunity that should have excited me about life was instead thwarted by the devastating messages taught by the cult. I was never offered any positive words, only doomsday prophecies that filled my head.
Being constantly reminded that God will annihilate everyone around you has an incredible impact on the psyche of a child, really anyone, regardless of their age. It made it impossible to plan for my future. When you are told that the future doesn’t exist and planning for it is impossible, the blessing arrives when you decide to live fully in each moment. You let go of worries about what’s ahead and focus on the present, which becomes a pivotal realization. This is where I actually understood the beautiful lesson behind it all, albeit much later in life. Still, it was a wonderful life lesson and a Ground Zero moment. My traumatic experiences within this religious/cult mirrored those of other religious organizations, mostly pedophilia and corrupt men—and the women who followed their orders blindly.
