Rabindra Kumar Satpathy is an electrical engineering graduate from NIT, Warangal. He has more than 30 years ofprofessional experience in renewable energy: in the field of solar photovoltaic (PV) power systems, wind powergeneration and others. He started his solar career in Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency (OREDA),installing India's first 25 Kwp solar PV diesel hybrid system, PV wind hybrid system, 1.1 MW wind farm from 1984 to1990. Rabindra Kumar Satpathy served as a key member of the management team in Tata BP Solar, Bangalore from1990 to 2002 and was instrumental in setting up India's first 5MW project in Rajasthan and 1 MW Rooftop project forThyagaraj Sports Complex in New Delhi as President of Reliance Industries Limited-Solar Group between 2007 and2013. He was also involved in establishing solar modules and cell factories as well as planning for large manufacturingfacilities from polysilicon to systems.
