lt;b>Marcel Danesi, Ph.D, is Full Professor of linguistic anthropology at the University of Toronto and Director of the Program in Semiotics of the same university. He is also co-director of the CogSci Network of the Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences. He has written extensively on mathematics education and cognitive mathematics, including two recent books, Ahmes' Legacy: Puzzles and the Mathematical Mind (Springer 2018) and (edited) Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Math Cognition (Springer 2020).
