The DVD follows the sequence of "The Tutor Book", as presenter Rod Fogg takes a group of teenage musicians into the rehearsal studio and runs them through how to play together in different configurations, as well as guiding them on how to shape and perform their material.
The CD contains over 70 professionally recorded tracks covering all of the exercises in "The Tutor Book", as well as full length performances by the band featured in the DVD.

Rod Fogg became guitar-obsessed as a teenager and now performs, teaches and runs workshops all over the U.K. He has several CDs out on Jazznik Records and has recorded many CDs to accompany books. He has been responsible for the musical content of Backbeat's books on Django Reinhardt and Eddie Van Halen, as well as much of the Totally Interactive Guitar Bible. He has also written widely on guitars and guitarists in magazines. He lives in London.
