Danny Rampling is a British House Music DJ and is widely credited as one of the original founders of the UK's rave/club scene. His career began in the early 1980s playing hip-hop, soul and funk in London's bars and clubs. In the early 1990s he became a radio presenter for the pirate station Kiss 100 FM, later being recruited by the BBC to host "The Lovegroove Dance Party" programme on BBC Radio 1. He is the author of the self-help guide, Everything You Need to Know About DJing and Success, published by Aurum.
