Build a talent strategy that attracts, develops and retains your organization's greatest asset - it's people.
AI and technology may be changing the way we work but people are still an organization's greatest asset so attracting, hiring and retaining the right employees is key.

Talent Strategy is written specifically for senior HR professionals and business leaders who are responsible for their organization's talent strategy. It covers why talent is a driving force for competitive advantage, why hiring should be seen as a driver of business growth rather than a cost centre and what the post-AI landscape means for people strategy. There is also discussion of the new expectations from today's employees, the importance and impact of employer branding and how to build a credible, data-driven employee value proposition (EVP). This book also contains expert advice on how to apply insights from consumer marketing to talent attraction strategies and includes real-world examples from EY, SAP, Autodesk and Electronic Arts.

This book is packed with guidance on how to build talent communities, the importance of employee referrals and how to ensure that assessments and interviews are bias-free and human-centred. There is also advice on skills-based hiring, how to shift company thinking from pedigree to potential and how to design internal mobility systems that retain, engage and empower talent. There is also discussion of belonging, social mobility and accessibility in relation to talent as well as the business case for inclusion. Most importantly, this book outlines the metrics that matter and how to measure candidate experience and the ROI of employer brand as well as how senior HR practitioners and business professionals can lead through layoffs, backlash or change. With expert advice on how AI is impacting the talent lifecycle and how to adopt a high-tech, high-touch strategy to hiring, this is essential reading for anyone leading talent strategy in their organization.
