Dr Rashida Lawal is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting at Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria, with a PhD in Accounting and an MSc in Islamic Banking and Finance. She also serves as Deputy Director at the International Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance and Deputy Examination Officer in the Department of Accounting. She has taught and supervised numerous undergraduates and postgraduate students. Her research focuses on audit quality, financial reporting, Islamic accounting, and sustainability. A Chevron Scholar and active consultant, she is involved in national development efforts, including election monitoring and financial inclusion, and is a member of several professional bodies.Prof Kabiru Isa Dandago is a Professor of Accounting at Bayero University, Kano. He holds BSc, MSc and PhD degrees, and is a Fellow of several professional bodies including the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. With over 34 years in academia, he has authored over 30 books and supervised numerous postgraduate theses. He was a Visiting Professor of Accounting and Finance at the Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). He has held key administrative and professional roles, including Commissioner for Finance, Kano State, and Federal Commissioner, Tax Appeal Tribunal. He has participated in 89 conferences across 29 countries and remains an active scholar and consultant.
