Dr Nawreen Sobhan is a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the School of Business and Creative Industries, University of the West of Scotland, UK. As an early career researcher, her scholarly interests lie at the intersection of entrepreneurship, policy, education, gender, and institutional influences in emerging economies. Her research focuses on how socio-cultural and institutional environments shape entrepreneurial activity, particularly among underrepresented and marginalised groups. Dr Sobhan is deeply committed to promoting inclusive economic development through academic inquiry and applied research that informs policy and practice in the Global South. Her interdisciplinary work explores the nexus of entrepreneurship education, social inequality, and sustainable development, with extensive research conducted in Bangladesh and other developing contexts. Dr Subodha Galahitiyawa is an Associate Lecturer and experienced postgraduate and undergraduate dissertation supervisor with nearly six years of teaching and supervisory experience in business and management education. With a strong commitment to student-centred learning, Dr Galahitiyawa tailors her teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs and styles. She is known for her effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, which support both individual and group learning environments.
