Saltanat Janenova is a Lecturer in Public Policy, School for Policy Studies, University of Bristol (UK), and a Lead of the Centre for Public Administration and Behavioural Policy, National Analytical Centre (Kazakhstan). She has a PhD in Social Policy from University of Edinburgh. Her research interests include public management reforms and open government in Eurasia. Gulnur Makulbayeva is an Associate Professor at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan. Dr. Makulbayeva has a PhD degree in Public Policy from Nazarbayev University and an MA in International Politics from Peking University (China). Dr. Makulbayeva’s research interests include political culture, government performance, and citizen participation in Central Asia.
