Since 1997 the International "Conference on Quality Engineering in Software Technology" (CONQUEST) has brought together the software and quality engineering community to discuss software quality aspects and to share experiences in industrial and research projects.
This year special emphasis was laid on Business Process Engineering (BPE). The book constitutes a selection of the presented speeches and lectures. They offer first-hand information on the practical use and further development of methods and techniques and provide insight into specific real-life case studies with detailed quality analysis and evaluation.

CONQUEST 2007 is organized by iSQI in cooperation with the Hasso Plattner Institute, the University of Potsdam, the German Society for Informatics (GI) and the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It is kindly supported by the Ministry of Economics of Brandenburg and the Security and Safety made in Berlin-Brandenburg network (SeSamBB).
