She holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Tsinghua University, China, an M.S. in manufacturing engineering from the University of Toledo, and a Ph.D. in manufacturing management from the University of Toledo. John F. Kros is the Vincent K. McMahon Distinguished Professor of Marketing and Supply Chain Management at East Carolina University.
