In an era where businesses face mounting scrutiny and declining legitimacy, this book explores the transformative potential of Corporate Social Innovation (CSI) as key to reshaping capitalism. Critics argue that capitalism fosters inequality and environmental degradation, yet its ability to drive innovation and reduce global poverty is unparalleled. This book confronts these dual narratives, advocating for a reimagined role of businesses in society. By balancing profitability with purpose, companies can rebuild trust, address social and environmental challenges, and secure long-term success. Drawing on cutting-edge research and real-world examples, this book delves into the evolution of capitalism, the rise of CSI, and its power to create shared value. It provides a roadmap for businesses to engage stakeholders, embrace transparency, and co-create sustainable solutions. Essential for practitioners, scholars, and change-makers, this book redefines the purpose of business in the 21st century.
