Danai Krokou was born in Corfu, a Greek island in the Ionian Sea. She left her hometown at age 17 to study and work in numerous countries around the world. She is an international business development consultant, Chinese market investment specialist and passionate polyglot. She has lived and worked in France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Austria, Greece, Hong Kong and China. She studied business, foreign languages, and international politics. She is fluent in a handful of languages, including Mandarin Chinese. She started her first business at age 25 in Shanghai, PRC. She is also the author of The Chinese e-Merging and Trading with China, published by BEP.
