Barbara Laslett is professor of sociology at the University of Minnestoa and former editor of Signs. Sally Gregory Kohlstedt is professor of the history of science at the University of Minnesota. Helen Longino teaches women's studies, philosophy, and science studies at the University of Minnesota. Evelynn M. Hammonds is assistant professor of the history of science in the Program in Science, Technology and Society at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
