Therefore, she presents a model that looks at the causes of conflict and ways of resolving it. The second part of the book presents case studies of conflicts in family business, examining such companies as Gucci and L'Oreal and applying the theory. This book will serves as a foundational text in managing disputes in family enterprises.

Josiane Fahed-Sreih is Associate Professor of Management in the School of Business at the Lebanese American University. She is Founder and currently the Director of the Institute of Family and Entrepreneurial Business at the Lebanese American University. She is a fellow member of the Family Firm Institute, USA. She holds the responsibility of the Middle East Coordinator for the Family Firm Institute, USA.
