ActivStats (Windows 95/98/00NT, and Macintosh) is an introductory statistics text on CD-ROM that uses the full potential of multimedia. The CD-ROM integrates video, simulation, animation, narration, text, pictures, interactive experiments, and Web access into a rich learning environment. The CD offers practice with real data via links to educational statistics packages. Using ActivStats, students develop a sound understanding of statistical concepts and methods.
The CD-ROM follows a course scope and sequence consistent with the ASA/MAA guidelines for teaching introductory statistics and the Advanced Placement Statistics Course.
