About the Editor Dr. David I. Cleland is the Ernest E. Roth Professor and Professor of Engineering Management at the University of Pittsburgh, and a Fellow of the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is often described as the "Father of Project Management" and is the only two-time recipient of PMI's Outstanding Contribution to Project Management Award.
