The new edition of this dynamic text introduces students to accounting concepts with numerous exciting and real examples from the U.S. and abroad. Students gain basic accounting knowledge, with an emphasis on how accounting is used and analyzed in actual case situations. This book does not take an encyclopedic approach to financial statement preparation or alternate ways of performing accounting functions because students who desire this level of detail find it in more advanced classes.
