He also teaches graduate courses in data communications and computer networking at Loyola College in Baltimore, MD. RICK SMITH is president of Internet Business Development, Inc., a consulting and research firm based in Raleigh, NC. He helped launch Interpath, an Internet Service Provider, in 1993 and managed the company for two years before becoming a consultant.
