This assessment was developed in conjunction with the Courageous Leadership Workshop. The primary purpose of the workshop is to help leaders build their own courage and teach them strategies and techniques for building courage in their constituents. During or prior to the workshop, facilitators may wish to administer this self-rated 30-item survey that participants use to assess which of the three types of courage (TRY, TRUST, TELL) they use most often, and which they need to use more.

Autor

Bill Treasurer is founder and Chief Encouragement Officer of Giant Leap Consulting, a company the endeavors to build courage in people and organizations. High-profile clients include The Home Depot, SPANX, and NASA. Bill is the author of two books on courage, Right Risk and Courage Goes to Work, both with Berrett-Koehler. Bill is also a member of the Pfeiffer Partner Program and wrote an article for the Spring 2009 issue of Leader to Leader.
