Prof. Chandana Jayalath is currently a professor at the Department of Quantity Surveying, University of Vocational Technology, Sri Lanka, and Adjunct Professor, Faculty of Built Environment and Spatial Sciences, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University in Sri Lanka. He obtained his B.Sc Hons in Quantity Surveying and M.Sc in Project Management from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka and D.Sc from from the California Southern University. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, UK and Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Sri Lanka. His major areas of research interests include forensic delay analysis, claims management, construction taxation and technical auditing in the field of construction. He has published over 80 research papers in reputed international journals. Currently, he is a member of the Association of Researchers in Construction Management, ARCOM, UK.
