He has also served as editor of several books and special journal issues. Shivani Ranjan, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Agronomy at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, India. She has published research and review articles, popular articles, and book chapters. She has received awards for best poster presentations and best articles. Her research interests pertain to conservation agriculture, carbon footprint management, integrated nutrient management, greenhouse gas emissions, and energy management in rice-wheat cropping systems. Sumit Sow, PhD, is a Senior Research Fellow on the Soil Health Project funded by the Tata Cornell Institute, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, USA, as well as the Department of Soil Science at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, India. Dr. Sow has published research articles, review articles, popular articles, book chapters, and four edited books. Smruti Ranjan Padhan, PhD, is a Subject Matter Specialist (Agronomy) at ICAR–Krishi Vigyan Kendra, India. He has published several peer-reviewed research and review papers in acclaimed national and international journals, along with many book chapters and popular articles. Dhirendra Kumar Roy, PhD, is Professor/Chief Scientist and Director, Seeds, at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, India. He has also held the esteemed posts of Deputy Director (Pusa Farm) and head of various regional research stations. With more than 16 years of teaching and research experience, he has guided MSc and PhD students and completed consulting projects.
