Dr Anita Bhatnagar earned her BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees in Zoology from Bhopal University, Bhopal, India. She specializes in Fish, Fisheries, and Aquaculture. After completing her PhD, she joined CCS Haryana Agricultural University as a Postdoctoral Fellow. At present she is serving as Professor and Chairperson in the Department of Zoology, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. Dr Bhatnagar has many awards and 168 publications to her credit, and her work has garnered significant academic recognition.Prof S. K. Garg started his professional career as a faculty member in the Department of Zoology and Aquaculture, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, India, from where he superannuated as Professor and Head of the Department of Zoology and Aquaculture in 2006 after 35 years of distinguished service. At this university, in addition to his teaching assignment, he was involved in conducting research on some of the very important aspects of inland aquaculture and Reproductive physiology/Endocrinology. Dr Garg has published more than 200 research papers on various aspects of aquaculture, and his contributions have been recognized at the national level. At present he is associated as a member of a working group for the Development of Fisheries in Haryana (India).
