Autor

Kevin Salamanez graduated with a Master of Sciences in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, cum laude both at the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB). Currently, he is a chemistry lecturer in De La Salle University, the Philippines, and the licensed chemist and technical consultant of Fertilizer and Pesticides Authority, Labserv, Inc., and LoPA Winery. He had been an assistant professor at the Institute of Chemistry, UPLB for 14 years, teaching pesticide chemistry, general chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and environmental chemistry. He became Head of Smart-Functional Biomaterials Research Laboratory focusing on allelopathy, pesticide chemistry, and natural products chemistry for more than 10 years, and member of UPLB Natural Products Research Group. He is a lifetime member of the Chemical Society of the Philippines-Southern Tagalog Chapter.Kevin Salamanez has published 38 research papers including in international and national journals, written a worktext on agricultural chemicals, and was named 2018 Outstanding Researcher and 2016 Outstanding Faculty in UPLB.
