Dr Sohan Singh Walia obtained his MSc and PhD degree in Agronomy from Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, India. He joined PAU as Assistant Professor of Agronomy in 1995, later becoming Principal Agronomist in 2010. He pioneered organic farming research at PAU as a PhD student (2001—04) and then worked on organic farming and integrated farming systems in All India Co-ordinated Research Project on Integrated Farming Systems and All India Network Project on Organic Farming.Karmjeet Kaur is working as Senior Research Fellow under a project entitled "All India Co-ordinated Research Project on Integrated Farming Systems" at the School of Organic Farming, PAU. She holds an MSc in Agriculture (Agronomy) from Khalsa College, Amritsar, Punjab, India. She has published four research papers, one review paper, one extension article, and six books.Tamanpreet Kaur is Senior Research Fellow under the project entitled "All India Co-ordinated Research Project on Integrated Farming Systems" at the School of Organic Farming, PAU. She holds an MSc in Agriculture (Agricultural Economics) from PAU. Her area of interest is in integrated farming systems. She has published eight research papers, thirteen extension articles, three booklets on integrated farming systems, three book chapters, and three books.
