In 1939 Kent farmer Frederick Hynard recorded a year on his farm. Film from the 1990s shows how the same operations were carried out with modern equipment.
In "Acres of Change", this original footage is contrasted with the same farming operations filmed sixty years later. Farmers Harold and Oliver Cooper talk about the changes they have witnessed in a video that shows the agricultural transformation (for good or bad) since the Second World War. The programme is narrated by Eddie Anderson and presented by George Macpherson, following technical advice and additional scripting by Brian Bell.
