Harmful Algal Blooms
Academic Press Inc (Verlag)

Other sections explore an integrated molecular approach to incorporate energy, nutrients, defenses, and sexual reproduction (ENDs) as a resolution for HAB growth. This is an important resource for researchers and students in marine biology and ecology fields, as well as phycological and environmental studies.
Dr. Senjie Lin is a Professor of Marine Sciences at the University of Connecticut. He teaches courses on algae and the environment, marine genomics, coastal ecosystem analysis, molecular oceanography, and advanced biological oceanography. He received his MSc in Marine Biology from Xiamen University in China, and his PhD in Biological Oceanography from the State University of New York at Stony Brook (now Stony Brook University). Dr. Lin has served in the editorial boards of various journals and is currently an associate editor for Journal of Phycology and board member of ISME J, Marine Life Science and Technology, and Microorganisms. He is an elected member of the Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering, Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and Fellow of the Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography (ASLO). His contribution to the research field of phycology has been recognized through the Darbaker Prize and various awards.
