During the 1970s and 1980s, Ambrogio was responsible for a turning point in the entire industry, with the comeback of reds that, previously classified as table wines, were able to showcase the peculiarities of a terroir with a millennium of history. 1982 marked the birth of Cabreo, a wine of high quality that crowned all the oenological research of its creator.
