He is also the only journalist to have won the Sports Story of the Year award twice. He has appeared as an analyst on virtually every TV news and sports programme going and has written for the Daily Mail, the Daily Mirror, the Daily Express, the Daily Star, the Sunday Express and the Star on Sunday. One of the most prolific writers of best-selling football books, his titles include the UK and US best seller Pele: His Life and Times; Gullit: The Chelsea Diary; All The Way José; and Wayne Rooney: The Story of Football’s Wonder Kid.
