Ambrogio Folonari is acknowledged as the undisputed father of the renaissance of Italian winemaking. The birth of Cabreo in 1982, a highly qualified wine, was the pinnacle of the oenological research conducted by its creator. Cabreo quickly became the emblem and flagship of the family business, drawing the attention of industry professionals and, above all, critics. It’s the wine to which Ambrogio most affectionately ties his name.
