Aiming to elucidate the variations of the brachial plexus in different species, including humans, and seeking to contribute to the advancement of comparative anatomy and neuroanatomy, this research was conducted, in which some literature was surveyed that addressed the behavior of the plexus of each species mentioned, observing in detail the origin of each nerve that composes the brachial plexus until its innervation of its specific muscle. The importance of studying the brachial plexus for anesthetic interventions, complementary laboratory analyses such as radiography, and understanding its ramifications for the diagnosis of trauma involving the thoracic limbs was emphasized.
