She has published more than 25 research papers in reputed international journals and conferences, authored book chapters, and holds multiple Indian and international patents. Dr. Punitha has successfully executed projects funded by AICTE, CSIR, and TNSCST, with a total grant exceeding ₹7 lakhs. She serves in key academic roles such as NBA coordinator, IIC convener, and R&D in-charge. Passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship, she frequently delivers expert sessions on AI, IPR, and startup development. She is also an active guide for undergraduate and postgraduate research projects. Her current interests lie in AI for Industry 5.0, smart sensor networks, and real-time embedded systems for safety and automation.
