This book is an annual conference co-sponsored by the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering (CSEE), the Korean Institute of Electrical Engineers (KIEE), the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (IEEJ), and the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) since 1995. Rotating among China, Japan, South Korea, and Hong Kong, ICEE has been held for 30 consecutive years and is recognized as a leading academic event in electrical engineering across Asia.
This book showcases cutting-edge research, methodologies, and experimental results in areas such as electromagnetic theory, electric transportation and integration, energy systems, power electronics, and high-voltage technologies. As a key interdisciplinary platform, ICEE brings together researchers, engineers, and professionals from academia, industry, and government to exchange innovative ideas and explore cross-disciplinary solutions. These books also serve as a valuable reference for researchers and graduate students in the field.

Xuzhu Dong received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1995 and 1998, respectively, and the second Ph.D. degree from Virginia Tech, Virginia, USA, in 2002. He is a professor and the dean of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Wuhan University, Wuhan, China. He was the deputy chief engineer and the director of the Smart Grid Institute of China Southern Power Grid (CSG) Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), Guangzhou, China. Before joined CSG, he worked with Progress Energy, FirstEnergy, and EPRI solutions in USA, as a senior engineer, stuff engineer, and lead engineer. He was involved into several key smart grid demonstration projects with CSG. He is a member of CIGRE. His research interests include smart distributions, microgrids, integration of renewable energy, energy storage, and asset management.
