Specifically, the communication constraints (e.g., time-varying network topology, communication delay, noise disturbance, uncertainties of communication links) on the operation of the distributed controllers and the possible challenges are presented and compared. The selected works can help promote development of ICT and renewable energy technology towardsinterconnectivity, resource sharing, flexibility and high efficiency. Researchers and engineers in the field of electrical engineering and communication engineering can benefit from the book.
