This book explores the incorporation of sustainability, logistic management, quality management and manufacturing management frameworks in private companies and governmental institutions. The circular economy, recycling, alternative energies and green mobility strategies are currently the most advanced and sophisticated ways to promote sustainability. Featuring selected contributions presented at the 5th International Conference on Quality, Innovation, and Sustainability (ICQIS) in Lisbon, Portugal, this book suggests improving the approach by implementing zero waste management in all business sectors, promoting reusable initiatives, and incorporating green building and mobility practices. The results establish a basis for making well-informed decisions, bringing academic institutions in line with the worldwide need for management and business responsibility. Featuring content from academics and researchers, this book is useful for scholars, researchers, academics, and students in innovation and quality management.
