Prof. Prabhat K. Singh is a distinguished Scientist (G) at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai, Inda, focusing on ultrafast spectroscopy, supramolecular chemistry, and bio- and chemo-sensing applications. A Gold Medalist from the University of Burdwan, he joined BARC in 2006, earning the prestigious Homi Bhabha Gold Medal. He completed his Ph.D. at the Homi Bhabha National Institute, receiving a Best Thesis Award, and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania. Prof. Singh’s contributions have earned him numerous honors, including Young Scientist Awards from the Department of Atomic Energy, NASI, and ISCA. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) and holds memberships in INYAS, NASI, IASc, and the Global Young Academy. Recognized among Stanford University’s top 2% scientists, he was recently awarded the TWAS Young Affiliate and honored with national medals for his impactful research achievements.
