Piezoelectric Composite Materials: Theory, Design and Applications provides a detailed overview of the latest advances in this important research field. Comprehensive in its coverage, the book offers a detailed review of the theoretical foundations, practical design considerations, and wide-ranging applications of these materials. The book will be an essential reference resource for academic and industrial researchers, materials scientists and engineers, manufacturers, industrial R&D, and other professionals who are working on the development and use of piezoelectric composite materials for a broad range of different applications.

Satyaranjan Bairagi is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom. His research interests include development of nanotechnology-based piezoelectric and triboelectric materials for nanogenerators, as well as textile-based flexible advanced materials for renewable energy harvesting. Shakeel Ahmed is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in the Higher Education Department, for the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, in India. He is also an Assistant Professor in the Postgraduate Department of Chemistry, at the Government Postgraduate College Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir, India. He obtained his master’s and doctoral degrees in chemistry from Jamia Millia Islamia, a central university, situated in New Delhi, India. He gained his post-doctoral experience in biocomposite materials from the Indian Institute of Technology. He has published several research papers in the field of green nanomaterials and biopolymers for various applications including biomedical, packaging, and water treatment. Wazed Ali is an Associate Professor in the Department of Textile and Fiber Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India. His research areas broadly include nanofibrous web for energy, nanocomposite-based flexible triboelectric materials, and green chemistry in textiles.
