Prof. Mohamed Trabelsi is a Full Professor and Head of the Electronics and Communications Engineering Department at Kuwait College of Science and Technology (KCST). He obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from INSA Lyon, France, in 2009 and has since established himself as a leading researcher in power electronics, energy conversion, renewable energy integration, smart grids, and AI-based energy forecasting and control strategies. Before joining KCST, Prof. Trabelsi held several research positions at Qatar University and Texas A&M University at Qatar. Dr. Murad Khan is an Associate Professor at Kuwait College of Science and Technology (KCST). He earned his Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Kyungpook National University in Daegu, South Korea, in February 2017. Prior to joining KCST in 2021, he worked as a Brain Pool fellow at Kyungpook National University (KNU), South Korea, from 2019 to 2021. Dr. Khan's contributions have been acknowledged with several accolades, including a bronze medal for research findings at the ACM-SAC Conference 2015 in Salamanca, Spain. Additionally, he received the Qualcomm Competition Award at KNU, South Korea, in 2016 for designing energy-efficient and autonomous smart homes. Furthermore, Dr. Khan was honored with the KNU Excellent Researcher Award for the years 2014, 2015, and 2016. Zied Bouida is an Assistant Professor at Kuwait College of Science and Technology (KCST) in Kuwait City. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, in 2015. Prior to joining KCST, Dr. Bouida served as a Senior Research Associate and Cisco Chair Technical Manager at the Internet of Things (IoT) Laboratory at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. His research focuses on the modeling, design, and performance analysis of wireless, IoT, and Non-Terrestrial Networks. Dr. Bouida is a Senior Member of IEEE, a Professional Member of the IEEE Honors Society, and a licensed Professional Engineer of Ontario. Prof. M. Murugappan is presently working at Kuwait College of Science and Technology (KCST) as a full professor in Electronics, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering since 2016. He is also serving as a visiting professor at the School of Engineering at Vels Institute of Science, Technology, and Advanced Studies in India. He is also an international visiting fellow at the Center of Excellence in Unmanned Aerial Systems at Universiti Malaysia Perlis in Malaysia. In a study by Stanford University, he was recently ranked among the top 2 percent of scientists working in experimental psychology and artificial intelligence for five consecutive years (2020–2024). He is a member of the editorial boards of PlosOne, Computers and Electrical Engineering, Human Centric Information Sciences, PeerJ Computer Science, Journal of Medical Imaging and Health Informatics, and International Journal of Cognitive Informatics.
