This book converges innovation, sustainability, and industrial transformation, focusing on how these pillars can collectively shape more resilient and intelligent societies. Sustainable, Innovative, and Intelligent Industries and Societies brings together cutting-edge research, case studies, and applied solutions that address current challenges in energy, mobility, water management, smart materials, industrial symbiosis, and digital technologies.

The book is structured into two major parts: it first presents smart and sustainable approaches within cities and societal systems, followed by advanced solutions in industry and product development. Each chapter provides unique and practical insights grounded in real-world scenarios and technological advancements, from digital twins for smart mobility to eco-innovation and sustainable fashion.

This volume reflects a multidisciplinary collaboration between academia and industry, with each contribution reinforcing the importance of sustainable and intelligent practices across sectors. Whether theoretical in nature or highly applied, the chapters offer valuable insights for researchers, professionals, and decision-makers seeking to understand and implement future-oriented solutions.

This edition continues the journey initiated in the previous volume, "Sustainable, Innovative, and Intelligent Societies and Cities," by broadening the perspective from smart societies to the intelligent, green, and digitally enhanced industries that will support them.

  • Presents a multidisciplinary overview of cutting-edge technologies and best practices for sustainable industries and smart societies;
  • Offers practical insights into energy, mobility, water management, advanced materials, and industrial symbiosis;
