A Wandering Soul
About Books (Verlag)

J. Miller has been co-creating alongside Peter Hauser from the outset, often reacting to his otherworldly, experimental work and powerful visual language. Awoiska van der Molen is another artist, whose work greatly moved the poet. Awoiska expands on the tradition of analog photography with her timeless, meditative images of nature and the spaces in between. Poetry can be a very intense, uncensored path to one’s essence through the prism of the writer’s verse. Like a mirror placed in front of the reader, disrobing and vulnerable, relatable and contemplative. In its own way, this book is a Gesamtkunstwerk, which embraces language both visual and emotional. A piece of photopoetry that hopes to accompany the reader on their own journey,
independent of place or circumstance, a dance between two complimentary art forms.
Sandra Nedvetskaia grew up in a family of intelligentsia, immersed in music, literature the arts. After moving to the UK, she earned degrees from King’s College London and the London School of Economics, beginning her art career at Christie’s London. A seasoned curator, writer, auctioneer and art advisor, Sandra’s passion for creative expression extended into poetry. In 2018, during a time of personal transformation, she gave rise to J. Miller, a heteronym inspired by the Portuguese writer Fernando Pessoa and women poets from the Russian Silver Age. J. Miller bares her vulnerability, mirroring Sandra’s inner world, exploring themes of angst, introspection, nature and dreams in a raw, visceral style. Together, they fuse art and words, crafting a narrative that transcends identity and emotion. A Wandering Soul is her debut poetry collection.
