This handbook provides technical guidance to help construction machinery users fully understand and correctly select piling machinery equipment, and concrete machinery and mortar machinery equipment. It can also be used for engineering and technical personnel when designing new equipment, and studied by teachers and students at colleges and universities. In addition, it focuses on the application of practices for safe use, commonly encountered problems, and maintenance aspects, helping operators to correctly and safely use related machinery equipment.
Prof. Qinghua He began his academic journey in 1980, when he was admitted to Central South University as a self-taught postgraduate student. He completed his Master’s degree in 1983 and joined the University's College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering as a faculty member. In 1999, he founded Sunward Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. For decades, he has focused on advancing engineering equipment, from research, teaching and technological innovation to the industrial application of academic results. He has supervised dozens of Master's and PhD students, authored four monographs, and published over 100 scholarly papers. He is distinguished for fundamental research, invention, and product commercialization in large piling machinery and modern rock drilling equipment. His awards include the National Science and Technology Progress Award(Second Prize), the Piling Machinery Industry Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Mao Yisheng Geotechnical Engineering Technological Innovation Award. Guojian Long is a researcher at Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science&Technology Co. Ltd., and is currently vice president and chief engineer of Changsha Construction Machinery Research Institute, vice president of the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, chairman of Hunan Provincial Committee of China Democracy Construction, vice chairman of Hunan Provincial CPPCC, and a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. His research interests are mainly in construction machinery and concrete machinery. He was awarded the second prize for scientific and technological progress by the Ministry of Construction and was selected for the National Key Scientific and Technological Research Program (Major Technical Equipment) of the Ninth Five-Year Plan.
